my audio in this video is pretty bad but the game is pretty fun.

cool game, just wish i could skip dialogue for when trying to find the other endings.
Very interesting, but ...so many endigs! I found only 8 or 9 endings ... Can someone give me a guide to unlock all endings?
Wow! This was an incredible experience and I haven't even completed all the endings. I hope you have plans for more games like this :)
Some of the choices in this story-driven interactive novel were really hard, and I think that's great. It's always nice to feel some kind of pressure, when one has to make a decision in such a game - it just makes the whole experience more meaningful. :) Congratulations for making such a lovely jam entry! Happily I recommended it in a little article on our blog and also uploaded a short gameplay video of it. <3
Thanks so much! So pleased you enjoyed it :)
How do u play a game on itch when u are new
Hey Your game is pretty kickass,
I'm working on a video project called time capsules focusing on game indie devs. It's similar to sending a message to your self in 50 years;
Only five questions for my documentary:
1. What feature in your game can the player not experience anywhere else?
2. What's the biggest personal obstacle you had to overcome in creating your game so far? (it could be super technical or anything else that you want to talk about)
3. Who helped you decide to become a game dev?
4. What feature of the game do you absolutely love that no one would probably ever find?
5. What do you believe video games mean to humanity?
First couple of episodes
if you have some game footage or even better developmental footage of errors or other stuff you'd like to show people who have never programmed a day in their life.
also best ways to contact you, and all social media you use because I'll be displaying those through out the episode.
I think if people dig the game and dig your story they might reach out for questions or colabs you really never know what can come of it.
do you think you'd be interested in being my guest?
Hi Ace, thank you for you interest! Would you mind sending me your email (either on here or through Twitter DM) so we can discuss it further? Thanks!
I enjoyed the game and only have four more endings in order to beat it.
I really enjoy playing this game - although it seems that Ana and Jakob do not... I feel that the shorter form works better for the decision-style games than spread out over 5 episodes. Sometimes it feels though that there's nothing you can do to pick up morale, which irritated me a bit - if I can knock it down, I should be able to raise it back up?
Overall, though, very solid and enjoyable - and I've still got 14 endings left to find, so great replay value!
I've done a couple of let's plays on it as well....
Hi! So what can I say about this game? It really is atmospheric and has it's harms. I really like that there are so many endings. I personally got 2, though the second one was just me goofing around and keeping screaming child with us even if I knew we're gonna die in the end xD The game is really not bad, not what I expected, but nice. Though it gave a lot of unanswered questions, like "How Anna f*cked up before", "What reeeeally happened in the supermarket and was it necessary for Jacob to hurt/kill? someone there", what are backgrounds of some characters etc.
Thanks so much for the playthrough and for the feedback Rainby!
I really enjoyed a couple of playthroughs, nice writing and atmosphere!
There is a monster inside me! Waiting to come out... Oh the horror! My little playthrough. I hate reading!
I feel this game was excellent. I give it 85 cows out of the herd of 100.
The art, sound, and the fact that one had to click to advance the story where blended seamlessly to create the dystopian fantasy.
The character's turning to face me when speaking to me was a nice touch. The fact that they said "you" instead of a different pronoun or a name was a great design choice as well; making me feel like I was the one they were taking to.
I legitimately felt terrified every time there was a knock on the door, with the uncertainty of what was to come.
I loved your use of design by subtraction. The only think I would have done differently would be to add a little background noise; like wind or something similar. The silence was a bit much sometimes.
WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD!
After my ending; with Annie, Jakob, and the couple dead, I felt terrible as I caused their deaths.
The picture that accompanied the text scroll at the end was killer, really hammering away the isolation and desire that would be in a post-apocalypse.
Great job on this game! Keep it up!!
Thanks Alex! So glad you enjoyed it. And thanks for leaving such a detailed review, is always nice to have this level of feedback.
Glad you enjoyed it :) We decided against having music in the main game as we felt it was more atmospheric and tense without it. Thanks for the video though!
Interesting game, I thought I did REALLY badly but apparently 2/3 alive isn't too bad :D
Thanks for the playthrough! 2/3 isn't bad at all ;)
Glad you enjoyed it! As well as different endings there is also some branching content with different characters which you can get by making different choices.
I really liked this one. Going to have to play through for the other endings and do another video! Keep up the awesome work!
When life gives you peaches make... peachade?
Great writing, moral dilemmas, and a nice old-fashioned bin fire await you in this grimy realisation of the post-apocalypse.
